Condition:  Varies, some thread can be a bit dusty or faded on the outside layer. 

 Notes: Newer poly/cotton thread should be fine for all sewing purposes - you can get a general feel for how old thread is based on the labels.  Older thread is not recommended for sewing that needs to be durable.  It's best for temporary uses like basting.  It's also great for decorative sewing or crafting!
